Today marks two years since I started this little nook on the world wide web. Like my dad always says, “Time flies when you’re having fun”. I simply couldn’t let today go by without saying  THANK YOU to you for even stopping by. Hope you enjoy this little space as much as I do. I thought it will be fun to party together. Well, cyber party! To kick things off I decided to host a little giveaway with some of my favorite things! Now close your eyes and say that again with Oprah’s voice, 1, 2, 3… FAVORITE THINGSSSSSSSSS! Ok, I wish I could give away a car to all of you, but seriously I can’t even afford to get a new one myself. HA With that said, I collected some of the things that make me happy and thought you would like them too. Are you ready?

The winner will receive this cute little globe. I have one myself and it’s just adorable. Some cute washi tape because everyone should always have some colorful tape in their life. A pretty notepad to keep handy for little reminders. I have one on me most all the time, otherwise I would forget to get some things done. Last but not least, some yummy chocolate bars from Ikea. Yes, I’m that person that eats chocolate while decorating, assembling furniture or blogging. I might even be eating some right now. Anyways, these are a few of my favorite things, I figured they will make you or a friend happy too. Besides, I wouldn’t be typing this “2nd blogiversary” post if it wasn’t for you who reads this.

I’ve been driving past this flower shop for quite some time now. The cute roses out front always got my attention. Then one weekend as we were leaving a store to get in our car, I noticed we weren’t far from this cute shop. Obviously I kept walking towards it. It wasn’t even planned, it was the best surprise ever as I was mesmerized by all the pretty flowers, I found a bucket with some “chicken balls”. I was so excited, I finally found some real Billy Buttons. With that said, I didn’t even know they were called “chicken balls”. I was so happy to be taking some home. Have you discovered cute places like this too? Did you know billy buttons were called chicken balls?

If you follow me on instagram you probably know that I’ve gotten a bit crazy over this little fella. The truth is, there is nothing better than cooking while listening to some of your favorite records (instead of having the TV on in the background). I’m absolutely in love with it all. Rediscovering old albums I once had or simply falling in love with some new ones. Here is a little wish list I put together. I mean, there is nothing wrong with getting vinyls of some of your favorite albums ever, even if I have them on my old ipod. Do people even use their ipods anymore? Anyways, back to records. Do you own a record player too? What is your favorite album? Where do you like to shop for yours? I love going through old boxes at flea markets.

With Spring in full swing and weather getting pretty (yes, I live in L.A but we are still having cold days here and there) it’s the perfect time to get a couple of things to rock during weekend adventures. I had my very first macaroon this weekend. I know, don’t judge me, it took me a long time to try them. Not sure what took me so long because these things are delicious!!! I stopped by Lette Macarons and it was such a cute little space that the whole presentation made it worth the price. Have you had any? What is your favorite one? I loved the chocolate and lemon one!

I got a little gift for my friend today. It wasn’t her birthday, it was just a random day. There is something about making someone happy when they are not expecting it. I mean, don’t you love to get surprises? It always makes me smile big time! If you have the time or energy today, go get a little something and give it to one of your friends. I was walking our “little” dog yesterday. I ran across these flowers and did what every normal person would do, stop and take pictures, right? I’m not even sure what their name is, but I don’t care. For me they will always be “those pretty flowers on the side of the road”. You never know when you will get inspired and this is another example. I don’t know about you but I feel like this year is flying by. How is it April already? I’m so glad that days are a bit longer and I get to see the sunset from our kitchen window. But, I do have a big favor to ask “2013″, could you slow down a little? Don’t you feel the same way? Please let me know I’m not crazy.
