I got a little gift for my friend today. It wasn’t her birthday, it was just a random day. There is something about making someone happy when they are not expecting it. Can you believe Valentines is right around the corner? Me either. As you all know I went a bit crazy with all the handmade gifts during the holidays, from snow-globes to wrapping paper to canvases and gift tags. My family went crazy about it. I decided to continue my trend and make some cute love notes for Valentines. It’s perfect since they will be made with love. Get it? Too cheesy? Oh well.

All you need is scissors, scrap-booking paper, felt, ink + stamps, needle and thread (I used needle and thread that belong to my grandma so making these felt super special)

Start by cutting your paper into the size you decide to make your cards. Cut out hearts from the felt. Sew your heart onto the front of your card. Here you can have fun mixing different colors of thread with your heart. Then simply stamp the front or inside with your choice of stamps. I found these cute rubber stamps at  Joann’s by their dollar pile.

Making these cute cards is super easy and I’m sure your Valentine will love it! Happy Crafting!

As you all know, my handmade themed have gotten out of control. With ornaments and gift tags I couldn’t leave out the wrapping paper. This is something you can do using the inside of paper bags from the store or with your standard brown packaging paper. I even saw some rolls at the dollar store! Then simply grab some rubber stamps + ink and have fun. You can use stamps related to the gifts or the person you’re giving it too. The options are infinite. Either way your gifts would be extra special. Happy Holidays!!!

This year I’ve been having too much fun creating handmade gifts. Making salt dough gift tags was the perfect final touch.  I used different cookie cutters and even attempted to paint some. At the end I loved how the plain white ones looked with my wrapping paper (which I created with different rubber stamps). I guess I’ve taken the “handmade theme” to heart. Maybe I have a problem. HAH this is a great weekend project that takes no time, but it does take time to dry. Some people like to bake them (for three hours) I simply let them dry for a couple of days, to the point I forgot I had made them, HAHA. Society six’s posters are always unique. All the different versions they have for Moonrise Kingdom (my favorite movie of the year) are simply breathtaking. Yes, I said breathtaking. Picking just one will be hard, but I do have a favorite. Can you guess which one?
